South Texas Birth and Women's Health Collaborative releases first edition of Empowerment

SAN ANTONIO, Texas, May 15, 2008 - The South Texas Birth and Women's Health Collaborative announced the release of its new online newsletter, Empowerment.

The newsletter will serve as a resource for women and families in South Texas, featuring informative articles on pregnancy, childbirth, nutrition, women's wellness, as well as local organizations and events.

Each issue will highlight a collaborating organization in the South Texas community that supports healthy pregnancy and childbirth. If you would like your organization considered for this feature article, or would like to volunteer to author an article for Empowerment, please contact us at info@texasbirth.org. The deadline for submittals for the August 2008 issue is July 31st.
